Star Colleges provide students with extracurricular activities as recreation and in application of the school guidance program. The extracurricular activities are applied and categorized into clubs or organizations. Each club or organization has a separate program and are assigned advisers who apply the program of their designated club. Extracurricular activities are considered minor applications of curricular and co-curricular activities, but not all extra-curricular activities are required for students. Students who will participate in one of these extra-curricular programs are required to pay a quarterly fee along with their quarterly payment of school tuition.

  1. Boys’ Brigade Club. Boys’ Brigade Club Program – The Boys’ Brigade of Star Colleges is the 1st Benguet chapter of Boy’s Brigade Asia, an international youth organization for girls and boys. The Boys’ Brigade Program combines basic military drills and survival skills with interdenominational Christian values. All Nursery to Grade 12 students at Star Colleges, are required to be a member of this organization. Members who are promoted as Ranked Officers must maintain good moral character with an 85 and above grade point average.
  2. College Preparatory Club. The Corvus Program – Corvus is the college preparatory program of Star Colleges that prepare graduating high school students for post-secondary education by providing a set of services designed to provide an advanced knowledge of general subjects that will be encountered by post-secondary students.
  3. Journalism Preparatory Club. The Columba Program – Columba is the journalism and writing preparatory program of Star Colleges that prepare high school students for a career in journalism and writing. Members of this club must participate in a peer review of one classic novel at the end of every semester and are required to submit two articles for the school newspaper: The Living Star.
  4. Music Preparatory Club. The Lyra Program – Lyra is the music preparatory program of Star Colleges that assists students to practice, play, and perform their preferred musical instruments in a group setting. Students must have a basic background of one musical instrument in order to participate and be a member of this program.
  5. Varsity Preparatory Club. The Orion Program – Orion is the college varsity program of Star Colleges that prepare graduating high school students to be sponsored athletes for their future university or college. Students must have a basic background of one sport in order to participate and be a member of this program.
  6. Student Leaders Organization. Pyxis Program – Pyxis is the student leaders’ program of Star Colleges that prepare graduating high school students to become leaders during their post-secondary education and throughout their careers. Students must maintain a good moral conduct, and an 85 and above grade point average in order to participate and be a member of this program.
  7. Art Preparatory Club. Pictor Program – Pictor is the art preparatory program of Star Colleges that prepare students for post-secondary fine arts education, or a course related to art and design. Students can only apply illustration and oil painting as a medium.
